I'm a mostly self taught Floral Designer and the business owner of Prairie Blooms Floral Design Studio, in Brooks, AB. Having moved to Canada at a young age from Zeeland in the Netherlands, I have always had a love of flowers, spending summer picking the lush blooms from my mothers garden. To this day not a much has changed, however my mama now grows flowers for me on purpose. I went to school for Production Horticulture and it wasn't until I took a floral class in college that sparked my interest in design aspect of flowers. After earning my diploma in Floral Design basics at the Academy of Floral Design in Vancouver, I started my floral journey.
