Independence doesn’t get easier with age. It just takes you to make to first step. Because you know they will seldom ask because they feel you are always busy.

Recently helped our young mom agents Vanessa & Kelly at Burlingtons own Ireland House Museum Apple Fest. I learned a lot from our young population of Halton.
Most of the kids I questioned recently had a fire drill in their local school. Which is great! When I asked when have they ever practiced a fire drill at their own homes? 95% of their replies were never! So if we can all agree faulty or expired smoke and carbon alarms cannot save lives? Then let’s support our kids and grandchildren with practicing fire drills in homes, and help remind our seniors and grandparents to inspect their alarms so there current. And why not encourage a fire drill at the grandparents house. Make it fun and save a life!
