Great opportunity for first time buyers or downsizers.

I was just listening to one of the mortgage people that I follow and he advises that the federal government has made the following changes:
1. First time buyers purchasing new construction can qualify for 30 year amortization on their Mortgage
2. The amount that can be withdrawn from an RRSP for a first time home buyer has increased from $35,000 to $60,000. Remember that you need to repay this amount within 15 years.
