Swipe for magic🪄🪄
Why use a water repellent?
This is my home, which shows areas that we have sprayed with our “Hydra-sil”
You can see under the windows and beside the door are not saturated with water, bs areas that are absorbing water.
Hydra-sil prevents this and here are the moisture readings to prove it!
“OL” means over limit, and the reader is detecting a lot of moisture. This is in an untreated area.
The other photo depicts an area that was treated with Hydra-sil and is reading 65% moisture. This is while water is still visibly sitting on the brickwork. The internal moisture is significantly less.
When spending thousands on masonry repairs, applying hydra-sil can prevent further degradation of brick/mortar.

Another recent project on where the client was experiencing moisture inside!
We had come in and take care of the caulking that was in the joints.
Once the caulking was removed, re-pointed and really cleaned up the area and made this 110 year old brick look brand new!
We followed with our water repellent spray to provide a vapour permeable option to prevent further water saturation.
we are happy to work on these old buildings that need that extra care!

Does your brick look like this?? This is called efflorescence and is caused by water pe*******on and the soluble salts get pulled to the surface! We can clean the brick and apply our hydra-shield product to prevent this!
The second photo shows where water has got behind the ledge, traveled in behind and is likely hitting the thru-wall flashing, and being forced out at the bottom. These stones are new, but will be covered with efflorescence soon! this is a Burlington location!
