As the Skills Canada National Competition 2026 comes to a close, we'd like to congratulate all competitors, organizers, volunteers, educators, and industry partners who helped make this year's event such a success.

We've had the opportunity to connect with students, apprentices, workforce development leaders, educators, employers, and government representatives from across Canada who share a commitment to strengthening the future of skilled trades and technologies.

We were also pleased to attend the Closing Ceremonies this morning, where apprenticesearch.com Executive Director Kelly Hoey and Director of Operations Michelle Murray joined Dr. Cindy Gouveia, President of Sheridan College, in celebrating the achievements of competitors and the impact of skilled trades education.

A special congratulations to Mike Gordon, Director of Canadian Training for UA Canada, on receiving the CCDA Award, a well-deserved recognition of leadership and contributions to the skilled trades community.

Thank you to Skills Canada / Compétences Canada for another incredible event. We leave SCNC 2026 inspired by the talent, passion, and dedication of Canada's future workforce.

We were delighted to welcome the Hon. David Piccini, Ontario’s Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, to the apprenticesearch.com booth at the Skills Canada National Competition 2026 today.

We appreciated the opportunity to connect with Minister Piccini and discuss the importance of creating pathways and opportunities for the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

From engaging with students at our booth activities to speaking with young attendees exploring careers in the trades and technologies, the energy at has been incredible.

Thank you to Skills Canada / Compétences Canada for bringing together students, educators, employers, industry leaders, and government partners from across the country to celebrate excellence in the skilled trades.

We’re excited to be at the Skills Canada / Compétences Canada National Competition 2026 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto today!

Our team at apprenticesearch.com is looking forward to connecting with students, apprentices, educators, employers, and industry leaders from across the country as Canada’s top skilled trade and technology competitors showcase their talents in more than 40 national competitions.

We attended a fantastic kickoff at the Skills for Success Forum, where conversations focused on building the future workforce and supporting career success in the skilled trades and technologies.

SCNC is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in Canada, and it’s incredible to see thousands of young people exploring hands-on career pathways through Try-A-Trade® activities, exhibitor booths, and industry engagement.

If you’re attending today or tomorrow, stop by our booth to say hello, learn more about skilled trades pathways, and try our games for fun prizes!
