Kindness within co.

So I was a little hesitant posting about this. It almost felt like posting would take away from the act and it wouldn’t seem genuine. Which is kind of weird because I see people post acts of kindness often and I’ve never thought that, guess I’m just an over thinker. But then I thought it was important to share because this page is about self kindness and paying it forward. I want people to know when I say a portion of sales are going towards random acts of kindness that they actually are.

Anyway last weekend (Mother’s Day) I went to the LCBO. As I was done loading up my car I started taking my cart back to the store (yes...I said cart don’t judge me, it’s been a long year lol) a homeless man approached me to take the cart back. I said it was ok I didn’t mind taking it and apologized that I didn’t have any change to give him, which was true I very rarely have cash on me, he said that was ok, he just liked helping and wanted to wish me a happy Mother’s Day. I told him I had to go into the Shoppers and asked if he wanted anything, he said if I didn’t mind he would love a drink. So I bought him a couple of drinks and a few snacks, when I came out and gave him his bag he was so thankful and wished me a good weekend and Happy Mother’s Day again.

It wasn’t some big grand gesture but it made someone happy. You can show kindness in small ways, that don’t cost a lot of money or any at all.

I still have lots of kindness dollars to pay forward and I have a bunch of the suggestions saved that people posted so I will continue to use them. Covid makes things a little harder, but I’ll do what I can.

The second scent I started working on was Citrus. Truthfully this was a selfish one, I love citrus scents for some reason they just remind me of a sunny day.

The perfume I use and have used since high school,not going to age myself by saying how long ago that was, has citrus notes.

Since we hopefully have nicer sunny days ahead are there any scents you associate with Summer?

Just a quick update for everyone, since I’ve gotten some questions about placing orders.

We had a slight delay getting our labels in and making sure they were right for our product. Everything is sorted now and all labels should hopefully be here in about a week and a half. Thank you to everyone for all your support and patience!
