It’s pumpkin time and with the nice fall weather, it’s perfect timing to peruse the patch! Have you picked your Jack-o-lantern yet? We have u-pick for pumpkins, squash and hazelnuts until October 31st. Pre-picked apples are available in the porch market along with honey, jams, maple syrup, ice cream, tarts, cookies and pies. There is no fee to enter the porch market. Admission into the farm is $6.20/person which includes all activities. Anything that is picked is an additional fee. Pumpkins are .45/lb, squash is $1.00/lb and hazelnuts are $8/lb. Thanksgiving weekend is here! All weekend we’re picking pumpkins, squash and hazelnuts! The porch market has pies, cookies, tarts, cider, jam, syrup and honey plus more. And the activities run daily between 10-5. This year has been difficult with less of an apple crop than last year. Our last two varieties are Mutsu and Fuji and they will be ripe and available for upick on Oct 10th. Due to the high volume of ticket sales, we anticipate they will all be picked that day. And that will be a wrap for apple picking this season. We do have a few varieties pre-picked and available in the market. Those include Empire, Cortland and Honeycrisp. Please purchase tickets to the farm on our website. Dixieorchards.com Admission to the farm includes all activities. Any items you pick is an additional fee. Please remember we do not allow bags, purses, coolers, diaper bags, backpacks inside the farm unless it’s clear or a f***y pack size.
