Introducing the upcoming Horseshoe Craft Series! Here's a valuable tip for rust removal from horseshoes or any metal object:
Step away from CLR and similar products. Achieve even better results at a fraction of the cost:

Place the object/s in a container large enough for complete submersion.

Fill the container with white vinegar until the area to be treated is covered by at least half an inch.

Gradually add baking soda to the container to prevent spills.

Allow the solution to work for a week for optimal results.

Remove the object, rinsing it with water (consider using a wire brush during this step).

Fully dry the object and apply the preferred finish to prevent future rusting.

Solution mix ratio: Use 1 cup of white vinegar (237ml) for each tablespoon of baking soda (15ml).
