NEW LISTING – RANCHLANDS NW,
244 Ranchridge Bay NW

Just hitting the market in Ranchlands — and this one has a lot going for it.

The main living space feels bright and open with a bay window and cedar vaulted ceiling, and the kitchen has been nicely updated with a layout that just works for everyday living.

One of the standout features here is the additional space this home offers. There’s a cozy family room with a wood stove (WETT inspected), a fully developed basement, and a heated garage with a proper workshop setup — something you don’t come across very often.

It’s the kind of home that’s been well cared for over the years, with updates where they matter and space that gives you options depending on how you live.

If you’ve been looking in the area, this one is definitely worth a look.

The Most Overlooked Calgary Neighbourhoods 04/01/2026

The Most Overlooked Calgary Neighbourhoods 👀

When buyers start their search, they often focus on the same well-known communities.

But some of the best opportunities in Calgary are found in neighbourhoods that don’t always get the spotlight.

Areas like:

• Acadia & Fairview
• Haysboro
• Queensland & Deer Ridge
• Beddington & Huntington Hills
• Pineridge & Marlborough Park

often offer strong value, great access, and lifestyle benefits buyers may not initially consider.

I put together a short article breaking down why these areas are worth a closer look.

Calgary Real Estate in 2026: Not One Market, But Four 03/30/2026

As we close out March, we’ve been hearing the same thing over and over…

“Is the market slowing down?” 🤔

Short answer—yes… but not in the way most people think.

Homes aren’t flooding the market.
They’re just not selling as fast as they were before.

Buyers are taking their time now. They’re looking at more options, asking more questions, and negotiating more.

And honestly… that’s not a bad thing.

But here’s where it gets interesting 👇

Calgary isn’t just one market anymore.

Detached homes are still holding pretty strong
Semi-detached and townhomes are starting to feel some pressure
Condos? That’s where we’re seeing the biggest shift right now

So depending on what you’re buying or selling… your experience could be completely different.

This isn’t a crash—it’s more of a reset.

And if you’re thinking about making a move, understanding your part of the market matters more than ever.

If you’re curious where your home fits—or what opportunities are out there—we’re always happy to chat 😊

Rents in Calgary are down 4.5% year-over-year, but in some cases the monthly cost of owning — particularly condos — is getting closer to rental costs.

At the same time, inventory has increased, which means buyers currently have more choice and negotiating power than we saw last year.

That doesn’t mean buying is right for everyone.
But it does mean this may be a good time to get pre-approved and understand your options.

Sometimes the best time to buy is when buyers have choices.
