Our hearts are heavy as we continue to witness what is a systemic crisis of humanity unfold before us. It’s time to end the quiet acceptance of racism and violence and listen. Listen to those who have felt and lived the injustices of a society devoid of an ability to see a person as a human being. While we can’t imagine the pain and fear felt by so many, we can stand with you and say we hear you, and we are with you.

Welcome to Foothills Film Lab, a small film development service just west of Calgary, AB in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Our Mission is to provide an affordable and high quality film processing and scanning service to photographers, be they hobbyists or professionals, that they can trust to deliver their images and work with them towards their vision. Each year there are fewer options available for film shooters to get their rolls developed and the costs increase as the demand on the few remaining services goes up. As big film labs see equipment fail due to lack of parts and support, the options become fewer still. By using traditional hand-processing techniques tweaked with modern ‘hacks’ to produce the best quality development we can, Foothills Film Lab hopes to fill part of that gap and continue to build the film community.
