We're hiring a Manager, Exhibit Design & Production!

This 12-month term position leads the creative development, design, production, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of Glenbow’s exhibitions and related built environments. It combines exhibition design leadership with hands-on production management, translating curatorial vision into engaging, accessible, and functional visitor experiences.

If you have a degree in Architectural Design, Industrial Design, Exhibit Design, or a related field, and minimum five years of progressive experience in museum or exhibition design, we want to hear from you.

Calgary's Indonesian community is shaping a compelling new display set to debut when Glenbow reopens in its revitalized home, the JR Shaw Centre for Arts & Culture.

This future display is part of a collaboration with Calgary's Indonesian, Ethiopian, and Mexican communities, highlighting the diversity of collections in Glenbow’s care and reflecting the museum’s commitment to telling meaningful, community-driven stories. Each community has worked closely with Glenbow's team to select art, objects, and belongings that represent and celebrate their cultural heritage.

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, Indonesian community members Ratna Wynne and Cindy Halim reflected on the curatorial process and shared what the project means to them and their community.
