We're excited to welcome Dr. Lauren E. Roberts to the Alethea specialist network, where she will be responding to Orthopaedic eConsults.

Dr. Roberts is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in foot and ankle surgery, while also treating a broad range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, arthritis, fractures, deformities, and complex reconstructive problems. She combines both surgical and non-surgical approaches to help optimize patient outcomes.

Users can now connect with Dr. Roberts through Alethea for timely, case-based guidance on orthopaedic and musculoskeletal concerns, including recommendations for investigation, conservative management, and appropriate referral.

We're pleased to welcome Dr. Marc Shaw to Alethea, where he'll be responding to General Surgery eConsults.

Dr. Shaw has a clinical focus in oncoplastic breast surgery and general surgery. Beyond his clinical practice, he is a recognized leader in healthcare quality improvement, medical informatics, and system transformation, serving as Medical Director of Community Specialty Care and Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for Alberta's North Zone.

Family Physicians and Nurse Practitioners can now connect with Dr. Shaw through Alethea for advice on general surgical concerns, breast conditions, surgical workup, and determining when referral or intervention may be appropriate.
