With challenge comes the chance of reward. In tree work the greatest reward sometimes comes from safely removing a hazardous tree and lately that’s been our calling. A rewarding challenge for us and a sense of relief for these homeowners.

Reflecting back on 2022 here. This spruce tree was no small feat. The roots had pushed their way into a garage foundation and cracked and lifted the concrete pad all around its base. Not to mention a heavy lean over the fence and power lines.

Phototropism, in particular, is when branches reorient their growth toward the direction of light. In this case 8 spruce trees were all doing just that. Unfortunately the direction of light had them extending precariously over utility lines and a building that was slated for an expansion.
