I’m not a productivity guru.
🌟I truly believe less is more when it comes to our schedules.
🌟Less of the things that don’t line up with our values, strengths, and talents.
🌟More of the things that do line up with our values, strengths, and talents.
🌟It can be extremely empowering to get YOUR right things done.
We all procrastinate to some degree or another. This is really normal.
That said, constant cycles of procrastination and overwhelm can be so debilitating and leave us feeling like we’re ‘lazy.'
It can be really helpful to identify why you are procrastinating in any given moment, so you can figure out what’s getting in your way and start moving forward.

Hey, FUTURE YOU!
(maybe someone can relate to this).
Did you know there are some of us out here that struggle seeing our future self?
The reality is that our most tangible self is our present self.
This can make us really “in the moment” kind of people, but it does have a down side.
➡️Transitions can be hard.
➡️Goal completion can be very challenging.
➡️Immediate interest often outweighs future reward.
It was maybe less than a year ago when I realized that I have never had the strongest sense of future self (I admit this reluctantly). I would beat myself up constantly for not being able to follow through on well intentioned goals, especially as a life coach. The usual goal setting approaches didn’t seem to work for me.
BUT I started to look at my successes (in typical coach style…look for the positive).
This is what I noticed…
✅When I set out to learn something or achieve something, breaking things down into short time frames of 5, 10, 15 minutes ensured that I would do that thing pretty much every day. Why not? It’s only 5 min, right?
✅I tend to skip the arbitrary end date (unless there is an external end date set by someone else).
✅My ‘goals’ (I’d love another word for this) are small, daily and manageable.
✅5 minutes everyday is more than none for countless days/weeks/months.
💚I know that this method works really well for me.
💚And I'm loving my awesome future self with this simple approach!
