BACK FOR THE EQUINOX
Alpha Lyrae is a multi-star complex that houses Vega, a star 25 light-years distant that used to guide humans as the north pole star some 12,000 years ago. While Vega won’t be our north pole star again until the year 13,727; on this year’s autumnal equinox it will be aligned above Fort Calgary, allowing BowWave to open an interstellar gateway. Enter Portal 6: Alpha Lyrae. Come to be transported to Vega and take flight under the ancient eagle constellation as it turns the celestial clock on the equinox.
