Comments: "Lots of new snow on the Wedge Connector
We found 5 cm on the Bill Milne trail starting at the Golf Course Parking Lot, 10 cm by Wedge Pond, 15 cm along the original Wedge Connector trail, and 20 cm at the Viewpoint! Skiing was skier set on the previous machine groomed track set, except for breaking trail on the very last section to the viewpoint. Skin skis worked well with no sticking, the weather was cool and overcast with occasional flurries and very occasional watery sunny breaks so the snow stayed cold. -6C at 10.30 am, -3C at 1 pm and snow in the forecast tonight so should still be good tomorrow.

Comments: "Skied moraine lake road at 4pm today. No track setting last few days despite new snow every day. That said, skier track was good for classic. Deep snow in middle wouldn’t be great for skate.

Due for a groom, hopefully tomorrow."

Comments: "Classic Spring Day at Mt Shark

We skied Ursa Major, Virgo, Pegasus, Hercules and Orion with Kazzy. Perfect tracks, soft corduroy (so no death defying downhills, and ample opportunity to make some turns), no ice and no debris. -6C at 10 am, 0C at 2 pm, partly cloudy with a cool breeze keeping the snow dry so should be good again tomorrow. Various combos of blue/green wax worked today. Skating also looked very good.

H742 from Canmore was snow covered this morning but sections of mud and potholes were developing by the afternoon.

Overall Condition: Good
Comments: "Canmore Nordic Centre was fabulous today! We were on classic skin skis which worked well. Some friends told us that it was slow going on skate skis due to it being quite cold in the morning. We finished around 2 pm when it just started to snow and it was well below zero so tomorrow will also be good. There's biathlon races happening over the next few days so the groomers have been needing to concentrate their energy on the course, leaving quite a few trails with a lack of recent grooming but what they did get done was so good. I expect more will be done for the weekend. "

Comments: "Not good at all! They got so much snow in Kananaskis the parking lots not ploughed and couldn’t get into wedge pond or Evan Thomas this am. I was hoping this would transfer to West Bragg. Not at all good, can see pavement on Mountain Road."
