A past self, a version of me. A woman who is growing and glowing.

This is the version of me that maybe no one’s knows. Maybe the one my mother tried to nurture as I wanted to write and she always made sure I had a journal. I’ve never been the strongest writer but I’ve always loved to write down my heartbreak, my fears, and my power.

When I was little I thought I was going to be a singer songwriter. My short stories and poems. My hopes and dreams. They have all grown up and evolved like me.

I read beautiful things all day on instagram and I want to be part of that. For myself, for others, and to show that little girl who had hopes and dreams that it’s okay to share the secret stories and poems.

Weekends turn into my busiest days so easily. With study, clinic hours, and work. It’s a real strategy to make time to eat well, train, and if I’m lucky see a friend. Sometimes it goes well and other times it does not. I try not to be hard on myself because we are all just doing what we can. Take time for you, your family, friends, and whatever else makes you happy. As always be grateful and mindful as nothing is permanent 🤍🐰
