Reverse Pyramid Training ⬇️
Something I’ve been doing in my own programming and programming provided to clients is reverse pyramid training.
The idea is, after an extensive warm up, hitting your heaviest set first in order to get the best bang for your buck, then backing off weight and increasing reps in order to still get the volume needed for muscle growth.
Not only have a progressed the fastest this way, but it also allows me to train heavy without causing joint aches and pains.
