Thank-you to Henry Wise Wood Highschool for inviting Summit Collective to your Transitioning to Adulthood night.

It was wonderful to connect with families and talk about our services!

We are so excited about the interest we have received for Summit Collective!

We have been asked how we came up with our business name - well we quickly learned that naming a business was harder than naming our children :-)

We landed on the word "collective" early on. A collective is a group that shares or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest or work together to achieve a common objective.

Summit Collective was inspired by this definition. This has shaped every step in our planning and helped to build our vision, mission and values.

What we do!

Summit Collective is a day program supporting adults with developmental disabilities to access recreation & wellness programs, volunteerism, and outdoor pursuits in-group participation.

Summit Collective can work with families that have PDD family managed funding - we provide the staff, planning and organization for activities Monday to Friday.

Summit Collective Community Services is a non-profit incorporated organization operating under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors.

How we do it?

Summit Collective is based in the community for all planned activities and programs. What does that mean? We believe in moving away from traditional facility-based models of service which often limit individuals in having robust community experiences. We will utilize public venues, activity centers, attractions and volunteer organizations providing a high energy and inclusive experience. Summit Collective also believes in experiencing the outdoors to learn skills, build confidence and appreciate the environment we are lucky to have in our backyard. Mountain trips and adventurous destinations outside of Calgary will be on the itinerary!
