We are so excited to finally announce the start of our first ever Spring Refresh!

Our Spring Refresh will be a series of new programs, workshops, and other fun events to mix things up a bit here at Q***r Calgary! We'll be kicking this off with the announcement of two new on-going events!

The #1 most requested event we hear from our community is for D&D. Guess what? It's finally here!! Starting in march, we will be launching our new ongoing event, Q***r Quests!

Q***r Quests is an ongoing, twice-a-month D&D event designed to bring Calgary’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community together through storytelling, adventure, and shared imagination. Hosted at Sentry Box Games, Q***r Quests offers both dedicated beginner nights and ongoing one-shot sessions, making it easy for anyone to jump in!

We'll be kick starting this event on Thursday, March 26th (6PM - 10:30PM) at Sentry Box Games with a Beginner Night! Where we will focus on providing a supportive, low-pressure introduction to D&D, covering the basics of game play, combat, character creation, and collaborative storytelling.

March will also mark the return of a monthly Q***r Calgary Book Club, Lets Get Books Together (LGBT).

Lets Get Books Together is a monthly q***r book club revolving around themes rather than assigned reading. The following month's theme will usually be decided collaboratively at every meet-up, occasionally there may be a preselected themes that correlate with current history or heritage month's.

LGBT will be hosted on the final Sunday of every month (March 29th) at Congress Coffee Company (215 36 Ave NE ) from 5:30 - 7:30PM. They have graciously allowed us to use their space after hours!

To start things off, our first theme will be q***r joy! We won't be suggesting any specific books this month, as we feel its important to acknowledge that q***r joy is unique to every individual. So feel free to pick out a book you feel represents q***r joy, and lets discuss it together!
