This man’s hands. My dad turned 86 last Friday. Yes, on the full moon lunar eclipse in Scorpio.

His hands are something I have always treasured. The way they held mine, they way they were able to fix things, his strong handshakes and his art. Watching him paint and sketch his talent onto paper.

I’ve also had the pleasure of knowing his healing hands that are more like Reiki paddles than hands.

Now he holds the Tarot. My wish is for him to illustrate a Tarot deck for me someday soon. In order for him to do that, he had to learn a bit about the archetypes he’ll be drawing.

I honour my lineage from a man who broke the binds of religion and became a free-thinker. Who counselled people with addictions and studied energy medicine in the 80s because he said talk therapy didn’t work.

The older I get, the more value I see in his paradigm shattering ways. So grateful for where I’ve come from!
