This weekend had me on the floor (literally 😂) I am still in shock by how well my home grown junior doe, Wren did… at just shy of 5 months this little girl got best or breed in two shows!!!! Beating her dad, the one and only Famous! I had a really good feeling about her from the first time I posed her as a baby. This was my first show I had gotten a leg with a home grown… and for it to be BOB!!! I cried! She competed against some really amazing rabbits and lines so this is Such a huge moment for me and my lines… raising hollands has been an incredibly challenging journey, but this weekend has given me back all the motivation I was feeling a lack of. I am extremely proud of her and myself and I will cherish this weekend for a long time. AND not only that my homegrown mini rex senior buck, Kyle also got two best of breed and one best opposite s*x of breed too! (Even if it was only because Cat wasn’t there 🤣) Regardless it was also super exciting as he was from my second litter of mini rex ever! I haven’t been working with them for very long, and even though the classes were small it was another incredible moment for my lines. Lastly my new buck, Brock’s Fallen Ears’ Vincent a handsome Senior orange buck who I got from the lovely Thompson girls in Washington got Best opposite s*x of breed one show too! This weekend was one of the best shows for my rabbits that I’ve participated in. I am incredibly grateful to EARS, judges James Goodrich and Samantha Henderson, and the town of Bruderheim for such a wonderful weekend.
And yes I sure did make my own awards 🤣🤣
