Rooftop Solar Economics – A Case Study
TENET installed a 3.4kW DC solar PV system in Calgary in late 2021. The 12-month difference in power bills before and after solar is about $750. The system installation cost was $9,180+GST. The federal government grant for this system size would be $3,400. Residents of Edmonton would be able to access an additional $1,360 from their city grant.
