The Hamsa or Khamsa Hand is a universal sign of protection, power and strength that dates back to ancient Mesopotamia. Known as the Hand of Fatima in Islam( in middle east and north Africa)and Hand of Miriam in Judaism, it's believed to protect against the evil eye and and all negative energies. The hamsa holds also recognition as a bearer of good fortune among Christians in the Middle East as well.
