This weekend in D.C., hundreds of women stepped onto the field to chase a dream that’s long overdue: playing professional baseball.

The Women’s Professional Baseball League (WPBL) is here — the first serious attempt to bring women’s baseball back to the spotlight since the 1950s.
From former Team USA athletes to everyday women who never stopped believing, this was more than just tryouts. It was a statement: We belong here.
League co-founder Justine Siegal put it best:

👉 “Every woman who has ever picked up a baseball now has the chance to play — without being the only woman in a dugout full of men.”

The WPBL isn’t trying to follow the old playbook — they’re rewriting it. New rules. New energy. A fresh future for women in America’s pastime.

This isn’t just a league — it’s a movement. ⚡

What an amazing day at our Girls With Game Clinic in Calgary!

Over 40 young athletes joined us for a fun-filled day of baseball, led by 10 incredible female coaches who brought the energy, skill, and inspiration.
