Great time presenting at the Alberta Association of Banff Conference this past weekend with . Inspiring presentations from architects all over North America! And the location can't be beat, simply breathtaking ⛰️
, designed backwards, on purpose.
We started with a constraint and our clients commitment to . and from a previous location informed the layout. The proportions and palette were anchored by the deep green blue of the furniture which carried through tile, millwork, and custom glazing film. Custom lighting with , made from recycled felt, followed the same logic.
Every move traces back to one idea: align design decisions with values, and let constraints lead.
