This campaign was never about me, it was about you, it was about Calgary.

To the hundreds of volunteers, the thousands of supporters, my extraordinary team, and the countless people who gave their time, talent, and dollars - thank you, from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and The Calgary Party.

While this may not be the result we worked so hard for, I’m proud of the campaign we built together - one focused on real issues, bold ideas, and rooted in a deep love for Calgary.

I will never stop dreaming of serving our city or believing that ours is the greatest place to live, work, and thrive.

The campaign may be over, but our work continues.

Diwali is a time to reflect on the values that unite all of us, those of selflessness, optimism, gratitude, and compassion for those in need.

As we celebrate, we recognize the many contributions of Calgarians and Canadians from Hindu, Jain, Sikh, and Buddhist communities.

Your traditions and spirit enrich our city’s cultural fabric and help make Calgary the vibrant, inclusive home we’re so proud of.

On behalf of I wish everyone celebrating a very Happy Diwali.

Yesterday I visited 14 wards in 14 hours.

Over this campaign, I’ve heard Calgarians loud and clear, you want change.

I’m ready to deliver it.

I will put my résumé up against any of the other candidates in this race - especially Mr. Farkas who has spent the entire campaign apologizing for his record.

It’s time for leadership you can count on.

Tomorrow, cast your vote for a mayor who has real leadership experience.

Tomorrow vote for and Brian Thiessen

I see a Calgary where our kids can afford to live and thrive, where creativity and community are celebrated, and where compassion drives real solutions to housing, safety, and affordability.

Tomorrow, I’m asking for your trust to make this vision a reality, with a common-sense plan, and the experience to deliver.

Small businesses and local entrepreneurs are the engines of our economy, and help drive the livability and vibrancy of our city.

I’ll treat them as real partners in city building, not afterthoughts.

Instead of tearing up main streets multiple times, we’ll build smarter.

Because a thriving small business community means a successful Calgary.

I’ve heard from Calgarians who felt ignored during the blanket rezoning process, and they’re right.

We need to fix it.

Simply repealing blanket rezoning would cost Calgary $225 million in federal funding, add roughly $50,000 to the cost of new homes, and stall the density we need as our city grows.

I’m not interested in political shortcuts.

I’ll do the hard work to fix zoning thoughtfully and respectfully, rebuild trust while keeping Calgary moving forward.

Calgary can’t afford Sonya Sharp and Danielle Smith.

No plan. Just chaos.

Closing the Sheldon Chumir site without a solution will cost lives and endanger our neighbourhoods.

I’m the only candidate with a real plan to restore safety, compassion, and common sense to our city.

Tonight’s real winner? Calgarians.

October 20, the choice is yours, vote.

Danielle Smith doesn’t run Calgary.

As your Mayor, I’ll stand up to the province, protect local decision-making, and put Calgarians first, not politicians.

Calgary deserves independence, not interference.
