I had two guys try to set me up like this downtown couple years back. I was walking a couple blocks back to my car at 1:30 am. Thankfully I was able to read what they were doing. They had both sides the the street covered and were pinching me in the middle.

Step one is always reading what’s happening. step 2 you missed the ambush, but equally as important.
