Indigesteam’s mission is to provide Indigenous-led, culturally-relevant STEM/STEAM educational programming for Indigenous youth, adults, their communities, and the greater community and allies in Calgary, Alberta and beyond.

🌈🪶 June Holds Us All

June brings together Indigenous Peoples Month and Pride Month, two celebrations rooted in identity, courage, and community. Both remind us that we are strongest when we honour who we are, where we come from, and how we walk with one another.

In our cultures, everything is connected, the land, our stories, our teachings, our relationships, our genders, our spirits. When we practice acceptance, we make room for every part of that circle. When we practice interconnectedness, we remember that our actions ripple out to others. And when we lead with kindness, we create the kind of world our ancestors hoped for and our youth deserve.
