No one picks up an instrument, walks onto a stage, or delivers a speech perfectly the first time.

The performances we see are the result of countless hours of practice, patience, determination, and the willingness to keep trying, even when something is difficult.

That’s why we love this quote by Malcolm Gladwell:

“Practice isn’t the thing you do once you’re good. It’s the thing you do that makes you good.”

Whether you’re preparing for your very first festival, working toward Provincials, or simply learning a new piece, remember that every rehearsal is helping you grow.

Each one wins a $1,500 scholarship.
