One detail I wanted to highlight: The Reskit rotor head. I painted this part up in a ugly mixture of olive drab, tan, and grey to accurately depict the weird green/brown colour seen in references.

The HH-60 getting closer to paint, I've started to seal up the various entrances and have decided to use the provided doors to do this. I've added masking fluid to where the parts don't make a perfect seal to prevent paint getting inside.

More progress on the Pavehawk. I managed to complete the wheel assemblies and the refuelling boom, and have finally gotten the Hawk on its feet. The Reskit wheels fit well and have a really nice weighted look I was after.

I've also gotten to work on the gearbox assembly and painted the top of the bird in a yellow-green mixture.

Starting work with the Quinta rivets. I had originally planned to apply them directly onto the recessed rivets however I found that the decal film was settling down a bit too well and making the divots too visible. I decided to fill the rivets with Vallejo's acrylic putty prior to decal application (not shown here). This putty worked well because after being applied to the model it could be wiped away with a damp Qtip, while the putty in the recessed rivet remained.

Cabin installed! Fit wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Small gaps here and there but overall a very manageable result here. Next up is the rivet work.

The cabin construction more or less in it's final state, Here's hoping the installation goes well with the fuselage halves.

Mid-week update for the HH-60, I was able to complete the overhead circuit breaker along with finalizing the ceiling and side bulkheads. I also started work on the cabin fuel tank.

Instead of the included photo etch straps, I chose to use tape strips and photo etched ratchet straps.

Progression on the Pavehawk's cockpit. I really liked the level of detail on the front panel and largely kept all the molded detail in place. I used instrument decals from Jira-Gio with UV resin added overtop to simulate the glass. Photography film was used for the MFD's.

The forward cabin was finished in black with some very fine yellow green chipping added. The centre console was also completed with Anyz dials, switches, and decals.

Weathering update for the HH-60G, I've completed the decaling of the overhead control console and laid down a varnish to prepare for a dark brown oil wash. Like the paintwork I tried to keep things restrained here, I didn't want a lot of wear, but just wanted the detail to be highlighted.

I like how the overhead console turned out, the Anyz and Jira-Gio decals really pop against the black.

Construction starts with the cabin components for the HH-60. The floor gets anti-slip texturing added and holes are drilled out in preparation for Anyz switches and dials. I kept things pretty restrained with the painting here as most of the cabin isn't going to be super visible.
