Call us and we can help you book Pessary fitting assessments at Optimum Perinatal Health!
A pessary is a removable silicone device worn inside the va**na to support the va**nal space.
Pessaries help manage symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse such as bulging or heaviness and symptoms of stress urine incontinence such as leakage of urine with coughing, straining or exercising. Just like a sports bra supports your breasts during high impact activities a pessary can help support your pelvic organs! Please contact us to learn more!

Christmas is just around the corner!
Do you know what works your pelvic floor in a truly functional way? Balance!! Tree pose is great for feeling steady and grounded. It really challenges your leg and core strength and stability. Stand tall with your rib cage stacked over your neutral pelvis, and ground down through your feet. As you exhale, bend one leg up and place the foot to the inside of your other leg, either below or above the knee joint (whatever feels more comfortable for you). Please be careful not to place your foot directly on the inside of your knee. Stand tall and breathe deeply.
