These are my 3 key reflections: 

1. Is there a difference between losing and failing? 

2. He doesn’t seem to have much fear of failure. 
- Instead he views it as a necessary part of success. 
- This framing is so powerful because he can bounce back quicker. 

3. Just because you can’t see it yet, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. 
- success requires both urgency and patience 
- be urgent about putting in effort and patient about seeing results. 

Curious, do you think it’s a good question to ask? And did you like his answer?

It’s so true - for tricky health journeys and knowing what your body needs, making art, entrepreneurship, relationships, navigating tech tools, parenting, healing past trauma and emotional growth, learning a new language and settling into a new country, and much, much more.

Some days I feel like I’m just a beginner at it all, sucking at it all. And at 45, isn’t it supposed to feel a bit more like I’ve mastered some things? So I needed to hear this.

Sharing as a note to self and in case any of you need the reminder too!
