Hanukkah is an opportunity to share that light with others, to show up for one another, to protect our shared humanity, to defend one another’s existence, and to stand firmly against antisemitism and hate in all its forms.

To all of my Jewish friends, neighbours, and those who are like family, I say a heartfelt Chag Sameach, Happy Hanukkah, and Am Yisrael Chai.
