Happy Mother’s Day! We know that moms can have a lot on their plate—but if you don’t, we can help.

As prices rise, food insecurity is growing at an alarming rate. If you need help with groceries in the face of the affordability crisis, we encourage you to reach out to us at 403-253-2055. Our volunteers would be happy to assist you in booking an Emergency Food Hamper.

CALLING ALL LISTENING EARS!

Our call center volunteers are the first people our clients interact with when booking an Emergency Food Hamper from the Calgary Food Bank. This is a role that requires patience, compassion and a willingness to help—if that sounds like you we would love to work with you!

Because of the training that goes into preparing a volunteer for their call center role, we ask that folks make a weekly commitment.

These are the shifts we have available.
Monday – Friday:
8:00 am – 11:00 am
11:00 am– 2:00 pm
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (Mon–Thurs only)

Volunteers must be over 18. Training will be provided.
