*The Parsons Animal Rescue Foundation *
Annually, the Jump Alberta Year End Awards Gala, selects a Charity to support, with a loaded Raffle Auction full of goodies and fun for all ages.
This year, PARF, was selected for their incredible efforts to protect the animals we so adore. The admirable work done by this group, has directly translated into our community, commiting to those surrendured and neglected, and setting them up for success, and a brand new life.
We are so pleased to assist in sharing just a few of their Success Stories:
********************
Romeo was an SPCA surrender case. He came unhandled, aggressive and still intact. He was gelded and transferred over to the team at Still Meadows Ranch who often help with training and rehoming. They focused on building his confidence and skillset and was adopted a year later to his forever family.
********************
Bandit was a yearling found with an un-doctored eye injury. He underwent emergency surgery to have his right eye removed. After thorough ground training and his first saddling experience, Loren Baker and the team at Balance in Motion adopted him. He is now approximately 8 years old and is thriving in his new jumping career with his forever family.
********************
Faith was a seizure case that came in through the SPCA. She came from a hoarding/neglect situation where she had foaled out (as a 3 years old) resulted in a 6" hernia. She was full of lice, malnourished and only halter broke. After a year in our care we were able to raise the funds to send her for surgery in an attempt to repair her hernia. Unfortunately it was not successful - But that doesn't stop Faith. She was eventually rehomed to the team at Balance in Motion where she is now thriving in her jumping and lesson career. She helps teach the younger generation patience and skill, and it's clear that in return, she gets an incredible amount of love and TLC.

The true horseman at at the helm of PARF can not do this alone.
We are so pleased to offer this team the donations from our Gala, but hope that more will consider following the link below for the donation page on their website!
