Lowering your car looks great, but it requires extra attention to your tires. This Subaru Impreza WRX came in with one severely damaged tire and significant camber wear across the set due to non-adjustable control arms.

When running coilovers, stay mindful of your alignment! We recommend flipping your tires periodically to even out wear and extend their lifespan.

The goal was an early Christmas gift for this vehicle: a fresh set of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 tires.

With zero inventory available for the OEM 235/55R18 size, we verified a technical alternative on tire rack and sourced a set of 225/60R18s to get the client back on the road before the holidays.

Fun fact: Moving to a slightly narrower tire in winter is often actually a performance upgrade. A 225-width tire cuts through deep snow and slush more effectively than a wider 235-width tire by increasing the pressure on the contact patch, in the end, the client left with a setup optimized for the Calgary winter conditions.
