Our Story

Pink Shirt YYC started in November of 2017 as a group of different Agencies, NGO's, community partners and residents of Calgary wanted to make a unified front for all the different anti-bullying/Pink Shirt Day initiatives in Calgary. We wanted to unite all events under one roof, to have a unified voice in the city. Our themes for this event are kindness, respect, togetherness, community and strength. These are qualities and virtues that we want to promote to the children and youth that we support in Calgary.
