The most colourful, vibrant, and biodiverse metropolis, the Great Barrier Reef is home to some 2900 coral reefs, 1625 species of fish, 3000 species of starfish and sea urchins, to name a few. The sustainability of this natural wonder is becoming a concern as climate change and human activity are slowly forcing the reef on the edge of extinction as coral numbers are beginning to plummet.

What the Fort?

Fort Calgary is a national historic site that was built in 1875, after the North West Mounted Police travelled from Manitoba to Alberta the previous year to establish a series of forts. This historical site is packed full of antiques, and showcases the history of creating the city of Calgary as we know it today.
