I will not go gentle into this good morning, but burn and rave against the coming of the light. An idea! One as mad as the world waking with me: The Interpretive Dance Smoothie. Throw everything into the ring: dance, stretching, breathwork, fascia training, gratitude, play, creativity, cold plunge, morning sun exposure, humming, singing, positive self-talk, smell where you are mindfulness, hydration, nutrition, presence…

I am done with shame. I dance and I stretch and I sing, even throw in a Triple Gratitude Breath power charged physiological sigh — and almost pass out. Hum my way to wake up my husband to tell him he didn’t close the fridge properly last night, and dance my way back to the blender. Smell the banana. Smell the apple. Risk the whole thing with nutritional yeast. I am done with fear. I take the cold plunge of a picture out in the snow. Having fun now, in spite of myself (could it really be working?). Then I take this show to the streets on a Be Creative Hunt and keep the energy going. I am ready for life. But this time, and more and more each day now, as a fully fuelled human who cares.
