Access to safe, adequate housing remains one of the most urgent challenges facing Indigenous communities across Canada. Last year we expanded our Indigenous Housing Initiative through an ongoing investment of up to $8 million per year supporting additional communities near our operations.

For National Volunteer Week, we’re highlighting the difference that everyday actions can make thanks to volunteers like Lam Huang from our Asia Pacific region.

In 2025, Lam spent time cleaning up his local park, helping create a cleaner, greener community for everyone. He also mentored colleagues on how to use Cenovus Cares, empowering them to find and create their own volunteer opportunities.
