PART 16: CFIA posts about ice crystals + food safety
Products were seized due to temperature abuse and that we stated the mothers could refreeze their breastmilk if it had ice crystals in it - which is widely accepted.
CFIA in our written report suggested this was not safe. Yet their own social media post just months prior showed a video on the safety of refreezing frozen food within 24-48 hours if it still had ice crystals in it.

She was right, the inspection is now almost a year into existence and they’ve continuously refused to disclose documents - it seems that the inspector also has a history of overloading the agency’s ATIP/investigators with irrelevant documents to slow down the release of information possibly buried in them?? Good tactic 👏
