Ever wondered what a tree, a bird, and a muscle fiber have in common? 🏹
Humility Science is a 3-day bow-making workshop where Indigenous Youth learn about aerodynamics and potential energy, tensile strength and physics, all through the humility of the land-based science of bow-making.
With Iêthka Knowledge Keepers Alice Kaquitts and Tom Snow, come experience the science within bow-making, from the gratitude offered to Ancestor tree, to the intentionally chosen feathers and their placements that direct the arrow through its own bird dynamics teachings.
Come spend three days making, learning, experiencing, and getting hands-on with science in the OG classroom, the Land 🌲.
Free for Indigenous Youth, with food, transportation, and supplies included.
