Hello September! It’s Virgo time!

I love this time of year as it’s the perfect time to work on your SOP’s (standard operating procedures) and create or improve your current systems.

Oddly enough, I went from being a control freak who had to do everything myself, to a business owner who delegates amicably to my VA. This is a major breakthrough for me!

I don’t need to do everything myself and trusting someone else with tasks in my business has been lifesaving.

BBQs + Business = the best combo! 🍔✨

Last night I headed off to a client’s team BBQ and it reminded me of one of the best parts of my work — the amazing people I get to collaborate with. It was such a fun evening with great food, lots of laughs, and finally meeting more of the team in person.

I always feel so grateful when clients include me in events like this. It’s a reminder that the work we do together goes beyond websites and marketing — it’s about building real relationships and being part of a bigger team. 💛

Hello July! This is the mid-year marker for business in Canada.

Are you meeting your business targets? Have you accomplished your business goals? Are you on track for the rest of 2025?

I always find that by July I need a rest. I need to regroup and take a break and re-energize.

If something I planned to do didn’t get done, then it’s quite possible that I need to adjust my strategy and objectives. Now is a good time for reviewing lessons learned and taking an honest look at where you are.

There’s no point in just pushing through something that’s not working. Take time this July to figure things out.
