Unless you’re actually in a DJ competition or singing contest, providing couples or companies with entertainment isn’t a competition.
When a DJ or a band does a horrible job, people are more likely not to want to hire entertainment for future events. This hurts the whole industry.
If we, as entertainers, do everything we can to do a good job and provide great service, more people will want to have more entertainment. So we all win. The competition should be within ourselves to be better and do better.
