A Special Thank You to Shane Homes ❤️
As we continue to reflect on the incredible success of the Sideways screening in Airdrie, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Shane Homes for their generous support and sponsorship of this important community event.
For decades, Shane Homes has been helping families build more than houses, they have been helping build communities throughout Alberta.
Their support of the Sideways screening demonstrates a commitment to something equally important: the health, well-being, and connection of the people who live within those communities.
Because of partners like Shane Homes, we were able to bring people together for an evening of meaningful conversations around mental health, resilience, hope, healing, and the importance of reaching out for support.
Thank you for standing alongside I Got Mind, the Airdrie Sport Council, Venue Church, the Thumbs Up Foundation, and so many others who helped make this unforgettable evening possible.
Together, we are building stronger communities, stronger connections, and brighter futures.
❤️ Thank you for making a difference.

A Heartfelt Thank You to Pastor Corey, Pastor Erin, and the Venue Church Family
As we continue to reflect on the incredible evening we shared at the Sideways screening, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Pastor Corey, Pastor Erin, and the entire Venue Church community.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Venue Church is much more than a building.
It's a place where people come together.
A place where authentic relationships are built.
A place where people genuinely care for one another.
Their mission of Building Community Through Caring was evident throughout the evening.
By opening their doors and welcoming our community, they created a safe and supportive space for meaningful conversations around mental health, resilience, hope, and healing.
The Sideways screening reminded us that none of us are meant to walk through life alone. Connection matters. Community matters. Caring matters.
Thank you, Pastor Corey and Pastor Erin, for the leadership, compassion, and vision you bring to our community.
And thank you to the entire Venue Church family for helping create an evening that was far more impactful than we could have imagined.
Together, we are building stronger communities, one conversation at a time.
❤️ With gratitude,
The I Got Mind Team
What an incredible evening at Venue Church in Airdrie.
Monday night's screening of Sideways was nothing short of extraordinary.
From the moment people began arriving, there was a feeling that this would be more than just a documentary screening. The beautiful setting at Venue Church created the perfect space for reflection, conversation, connection, and healing.
As the story unfolded on the screen, you could feel the emotion in the room. There were moments of silence, moments of tears, moments of inspiration, and moments that reminded us all of the incredible resilience of the human spirit.
What makes Sideways so powerful is that it is more than a story about tragedy. It is a story about courage, hope, healing, and the choices we make when life takes us down unexpected paths.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, to the amazing team at Venue Church for creating such a welcoming environment, and to all those who continue to support the mission of bringing conversations about mental health, trauma, resilience, and recovery into our communities.
A special thank you to everyone who stayed afterward to share their own stories and reflections. Those conversations are exactly why these screenings matter.
The impact of Sideways continues long after the credits roll.
Together, we are changing the conversation.
