Oil is used in many different inputs in the economy. High oil prices increase the cost of various different goods we purchase on a daily basis. The longer oil prices stay elevated, the more we will see prices of things we purchase increase. π°πΈ
We don't know when the current US-Israel-Iran conflict will end, but until it ends and the Strait of Hormuz is reopened, everyone should mentally prepare to see inflation numbers get higher in the coming months. πΆ
