CCIS’ Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) team recently hosted a CRA information session in Lethbridge, in partnership with DeVry and Rainbow Greenhouses, supporting farmworkers with important tax information and services.
The session, led by Judy Wild from the Canada Revenue Agency, welcomed around 160 farmworkers. After the session, 45 participants received one-on-one support to help with:
✔ Printing Notices of Assessment (NOAs)
✔ Updating personal information in CRA accounts
✔ Checking returns and benefits
✔ Resolving missing cheques
✔ Setting up direct deposit
Many questions were answered on the spot, and both farmworkers and employers shared how valuable this support was.
👏 A special thank you to our TFW team, Jessica, Nehal, Leonor, Maria, and Harry, for their amazing work in making this session a success.
🤝 We’re proud to continue providing practical support that meets people where they are.

Every graduation marks the end of one journey—but more importantly, the beginning of countless possibilities.
We were proud to join MCG Career College in celebrating its 2026 graduates and the institution’s remarkable 20th Anniversary. Representing CCIS at this special event were Hasmik Asmaryan, our Director of Business, Employment, and Training Services, and Nidhi Sachdev, our Mentorship for Integration Program Coordinator.
Surrounded by graduates, community leaders, government representatives, academic partners, and supporters, we celebrated not only academic achievement, but also the determination, resilience, and aspirations that bring individuals to this important milestone.
CCIS was deeply honored to receive a Community Partnership Crest in recognition of our longstanding collaboration with MCG Career College and our shared commitment to helping individuals build successful futures through education, employment, and community connections.
While accepting the award on behalf of CCIS, Hasmik challenged graduates to put their knowledge, skills, and qualifications into action—using them to strengthen workplaces, enrich communities, and help build a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Strong communities are built through strong partnerships. Our collaboration with MCG Career College demonstrates the impact that can be achieved when organizations work together to empower individuals, create opportunities, and invest in the success of future generations.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. Your achievements today represent not only personal success, but also the promise of the contributions you will make to our communities tomorrow.
Thank you to MCG Career College for this meaningful recognition and for 20 years of excellence in education, workforce development, and community leadership. We are grateful for our partnership and look forward to continuing this important work together.
