Did you know? On average, STARS gets dispatched up to 10 times per day across all six bases. But on Canada Day, it can go up to 14 missions per day, a 40% increase in mission volume!

Meet Colby Burwell, a flight paramedic and dad of Noah (pictured) and Cora! When asked how fatherhood has impacted his professional role he said, "(Fatherhood) brings a whole new meaning to the work we do every day. It’s a deep desire to keep families connected. Coming home, with Noah there to greet you, it really makes you feel how important that mission is."
