In this season of giving, we want to give back to YOU, our supporters and friends! Over the next few days we’ll revisit some of the excellent speakers and agencies we have highlighted in the past year and post links to their talks. When choosing which charitable agencies to support, why not consider one of these worthy agencies.

Our first post is about Woods Homes.
Our guest speaker on Nov. 23 was Bryan Goehringer, their Director of Philanthropy and Community. He shares the moving history of Woods Homes, including its Christian roots in the faith of the founder: a Presbyterian pastor who simply chose to say “Yes!” to God by rescuing and caring for homeless children. Their programs and services now address homelessness, su***de prevention, mental health treatment, youth mentorship, and faith-based education. Watch this amazing true story, and think of all the good that can happen when we each say “Yes!” to God in our own area of influence.
